Hello dear buzznet friends!
It has been a while since I blogged.
Yes, I know. A week isn't really considered a long time, but oh well.

Today was emotionally filling.
More bad than good.

First off, the weather was so damn depressing.
It was cloudy, chilly and rainy!!!!

So today one of my guy friends withdrew from school.
He is a senior like me, with only six weeks left of school, but he left.
I had to fight back tears when he hugged me goodbye.
It was a sad way to start the day.

Then afterschool, I saw a car accident!
I don't know if any of you have seen one before, but several emotions go through you at the same time.
However, it is worse if you know the person.
Which I did.
We weren't 'good friends' more like acquantinces, but oh well.
It didn't help that they parked next to me at school today!!!!!
It was really scary, watching it through my rearview mirror.
Thank goodness my cousin was in the car with me because I would have wrecked myself from watching the scene unfold in my mirror.
It is sad, knowing that it is their fault though.
She turned on a red light.

Lets see. Other than that depressing news I wanted to get out there...
Last night my friends' grandma took us and paid for us both to get fake nails done and pedicures. Then we went out to eat. It was really nice!!!
And now I am pretty much set for prom which is in a day!!!!!! EEEEKKKK!!!
I promise to post pictures as soon as possible.

In other news, in Astronomy today we got to launch rockets that we made. Unfortunately, I got stuck with the 'loser rocket' which didn't actually enter the air until after my third try. It was cool though. And very entertaining. Except for some of the boys saying something about me wearing flip flops. Not sure if it was supposed to be mean or not, but seriously, how freaking rude!!!

Right now I am listening to My Chemical Romances' cd The Black Parade.
I have never been a hardcore MCR fan, but it is a pretty decent record.

Tootles,

Kris****

Ps. I hope anyone reading this has a fantastic Friday.

I am not sure if any of you are Green Day fans, but I am, and I just heard their new song!
It's called "Know your Enemy" and it is SO GOOD!!!!!!
(You can listen to a minute and a half of the song on their myspace page!)

Their 8th album comes out on May 15th and I cannot wait!
I have been waiting five freaking years for this damned cd and it is almost here!

In other news, I just picked weeds out of my parents garden for money.
Yeah, and according to them, I still have a long ways to go before I can get my TEN DOLLARS! Man, I felt like I slaved away, but apparently not.

I am enjoying some fantastic chocolate milk at the moment.
Though it probably isn't good that I am drinking it thirty minutes before I will probably go to bed. I will be up in the middle of the night having to pee!

On a good note, I don't have school on Friday! So, I think I will probably go see a movie with my mom and brother and probably go to borders to get the book I am pulling weeds for. If they don't have it, I will be pissed!

I hope everyone has a fantastic night and day tomorrow! :)

Okay, explaining the meaning of my title. Saturday (yesterday) I got a masquerade mask to wear on prom night because the theme is 'midnight masquerade'

But anyways...

I am in serious need of a good book.
Can anyone help with that?
I want something happy, because frankly, I am just sick of sad stuff at the moment.

I just got back from a friends house a little while ago.
I borrowed one of her books entitled 'kissed by an angel' which is actually three books combined into one. And because I didn't know if I would like it (my friend said it was okay but not really worth reading.) So I was flipping through it and at parts I would really get into it. Then I read the ending and bawled my eyes out because it was just SO sad. (refference to above paragraph)
So, I will probably read that in a few days and will have nothing to do! HELP!

Lots of things have happened since my last post, so this might be a really long blog.

First off: Last Saturday, my dance team went to competition at a local college and we won NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!! I was and am so freaking excited! I left my very last competition feeling pretty good.

I have a very hard paper due a week from Tuesday that I haven't even started. (whoops!)
It is about stem cell research and has to be at least three pages typed! Eeek!
But it will get done!

Another thing happened on Saturday (yesterday). I was driving around town with my cousin (because I spent the night at her house on Friday) and I was getting story ideas like crazy.
So basically, I have almost all the ideas for names, addresses and have quite a few other ideas for the story to follow. Even if I change the direction of the story, I still think I will use some of the stuff I came up with.
It is quite good, if I do say so myself.

I haven't really been working on Asia, but it will get done soon. I'm not going to school Tuesday because I have an eyedoctor appointment and I am going out to lunch with my mom, so maybe I will have some time to get something done then.

I went to Hot Topic yesterday and saw three Tokio Hotel shirts. I was so unbelievably excited (TH has never been in my hot topic before) Sadly, I had no money. :'C But there is always next time.

Hm... There is probably more I could write about. But I am all out of ideas.

Hope you enjoyed this pointless blog.

-Kris-

Ps. May I point out that country music sucks!

Seriously, I can never win at that game!
Yet, I play it all the freaking time.
I might win once every five hundred games or so... (okay, not that bad, but you get the picture)

Speaking of ipods, I really want an ipod touch (16 gig!)
But those things are $300!!!!!!!!!!!
DAMN!!!!!!!!!
But honestly, I play around with my Bff's all the time.
It is highly entertaining.

Today was a relatively good Monday.
I was almost late to school this morning, because BFF was late to get me this morning.
However she did stop to get us tacos and tea!
Horray!
However, towards the end of the day, I began to notice that my attitude took on a kind of hostile edge.
Which leads me to think that the girlie time is fastly approaching.
Terrific! (Not!)

Now for something interesting.
A story idea popped into my head during my english class.
Which was very odd, considering we were watching a movie about talking animals.
Anyway. It wasn't really a story, it was more of an argument that two characers were having.
Bill and the girl (I am not sure what her name will be ( 'if I even continue with the idea!))
But the part I wrote is good so far.
I started on the first chapter, which will hopefully turn out good as well.

I know it's weird for me to have already begun processing a new story when I haven't even finished the one I am currently doing. I am weird like that.
It's easier for me to work with stuff if I do it that way.

Now, I wanted to note a quick apology to Lory.
Lory, I know you have read all my Asia chapters, and I am sorry for saying that yesterday.
But I literally meant everyone but you :)
You are awesome!

Prom is less than a month away!
Yay! I will be buying my ticket later in the week!
I can't wait to show everyone pictures of my and my friends dresses!

Until next time~
Kris

So, I got the Twilight DVD on Saturday! (Anyone else?)
I watched it with my best friend that night and it was tons of fun.
I know the book is tons better than the movie, but still.

Fav part: Edward- "I can read every mind in this room, apart from yours. Money, sex, money, sex....CAT!?!?!"

Damn, that cracks me up everytime.

In other news, I am hard at work on a new chapter of Asia Spade (Not that anyone actually reads that anymore)
Anyhoo, I don't really have a lot of materials for something after that.
I had a decent idea for a sequel, or I have one new story that I could try.
But who knows what I will wind up doing!
(If you have any suggestions, please suggest them in a comment or message!)

Man, I am so excited for this year to progress.
So many good books and cd's are coming out!
What is everyone looking forward to this year?

Gah! The weekend flew by way too fast!
I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Peace out!

In case anyone wanted to know what I have been listening to lately, here is a short list:

"Thank you ma'am. You may enter through the door on the left." The usher stamped my invitation and then held…

"Thank you ma'am. You may enter through the door on the left." The usher stamped my invitation and then held it out to me. "No problem," I winked slyly and made my way inside. Loud music blasted inside the packed room. People sat around circular tables chatting; The dance floor was completely empty.

My eyes scanned the room for any signs of danger. None, but I did catch a glimpse of Bill standing with two other people behind a table near a podium. I began making my way to him when a hand wrapped around my arm.

"Ms. Spade," The man looked to be in his early thirties, wearing a tux and sporting an earpiece. "Mr. Wincrest is expecting you. You can come easily or not so easily." I smirked at him, amused. "I'll come easily, but you better remove your hand, or I can't promise that you'll have any fingers left intact by the end of the night."

Clearly afraid, he removed his hand and gestured for me to start walking. I glanced toward the podium and saw that a red headed lady had begun addressing the people. Bill's eyes, curious and anxious were on me.

I walked through a huge conference room and through a set of expensive looking doors into a private office. A desk sat in the far corner, as well as a black leather sofa, a chase lounge and a few other chairs. Intricate paintings decorated the tan colored walls.

A man with graying brown hair and tired eyes sat behind the desk. His eyes lit up slightly when I entered. "Ah, that dress looks great on you," His eyes roamed my body, approval flashed crossed his face. It sickened me. "Well, you did pick it out," I stated dryly. The dress in question was strapless and a shocking white in color. The bodice was as tight as possible while the skirt was loose and flowy. It was constructed of lace and silk.

"Right, well, what can I say? I have good taste." He stood up and beckoned me to him with one finger. Before I could even lift my foot, the guard standing next to me snatched the bag right from in between my fingers. I was about to protest when another guard lifted a gun and gave a warning 'hey'. So, I watched as the guard searched my bag for anything that might be harmful to their boss.

When I was cleared, I marched forward and stood in front of the desk. The man extended his arm and said, "The name is Michael Wincrest," I narrowed my eyes and glared at him. "Yeah," I said bitterly, "I know who you are. You killed my parents ten years ago." The man's smile faltered for a moment, but returned stronger than before. "Oh, those were your parents. I am terribly sorry." Fake sympathy rang in his voice.

"What do you want with me?" His smile vanished. "Technically, I don't need anything from you. I just wanted to see if I could fool you into coming. Now, I am going to start a revolution. One that involves weapons and war; And there is nothing you can do to stop me. Bill and the two other people here speaking will sign a paper at the end of the night, and all their wealth and power the have attained through weapons will belong to me, ensuring that I may sell to people illegally all over the globe."

"Bill will never sign that paper." Bile rose in my throat. I couldn't let this man get a way with such hideous crimes. "Of course he will. I have the ultimate bargaining chip, you see. He will do my bidding as long as I have this chip under my possession." I raised my eyebrow. What could this man have that was so special to Bill? I pondered this for a few moments. When it was clear to Mr. Wincrest that I was uncertain, he gave me an obvious smile.

"Do you really not know the answer? That boy is head over heels in love with you!" My eyes went wide with shock. Someone loved me? Bill loved me? "Now, my dear, I have to go and collect my paper. Mr Kaulitz, is scheduled to speak any moment."

He walked around the desk and was headed for the door. I fumbled with all the material of my dress, and finally found the blade that was secured to my thigh. My fingers wrapped around the handle and began to pursue the man that killed my parents and threatened to hurt the man that loved me.

I was slammed into the wall roughly, the knife falling from my hand. I heard a chuckling sound at the door. "You are so foolish and young. You let your emotions cloud your mind. What a shame. I could use someone like you to help lead my army. But alas, I am late already." He turned on his heel and left the room. After giving me another shove and collecting my weapon, the other guards left as well.

I threw myself against the door, tears threatening to fall from my eyes. The strong oak resisted the force and I slid to the floor. The sound of Bill's voice floated through the air. A tone I had never known before. His voice was strong and powerful; Confident. I shook my head and continued to bang on the door until Bill thanked the crowd and applause broke out.

I was leaning on the desk when the doors opened. I stood up, ready to fight if necessary. Bill was shoved violently into the room. He stumbled for a moment, but soon regained his balance. The guard smirked at me and said "We'll be back for you when everyone has left the building." Bill's lips were curled into a snarl, one that I found myself giddy about.

Once the door had been slammed, Bill turned to me, his face pale and concerned. "Are you okay?" I contemplated before I spoke. "Oh yeah, I'm great. I am being held against my will inside of an office, without a weapon, and to top it off, I'm with you!" I was teasing, of course. But Bill's concern melted instantly and was replaced with anger and disgust. "I was kidding," I continued, a small smile on my lips. Now that I thought about it, I kind of was glad to be in the same room with him. I now knew he was safe and I felt safer with him near me.

He walked right up to where I leaned against the wall. "Can I make one thing clear?" His eyes were questioning as he stared into my eyes. "I don't like you." I raised an eyebrow, but he held up a hand. "But I don't hate you either." I tried to swallow the lump rising in my throat without success. "Can I be honest with you?" I asked, suddenly feeling brave enough to conquer my emotions. "I think... I think I'm in love with you."

Bill's mouth collided with my own. I could feel energy radiating from his entire body and I realized what it was. Love. I kissed him back eagerly, savoring the sweet taste of his lips. The hands cupping my face slid down my shoulders and grasped my waist roughly, his fingers biting into my skin slightly. My own hands braided themselves into his long hair. Bill's lips danced against mine in a tender dance of affection.

We pulled away slightly to stare into each other's eyes. Bill was panting slightly and it triggered a hungry feeling inside of me. I pulled him back to me and kissed harder than before; desperately hoping his feelings of lust mirrored mine.

Bill's grip on my his loosened slightly so he could peal my body off the wall and slam me against the edge of the desk. His lips trailed up my neck to my ear. They stopped there and he nibbled on my ear. His breathing was more labored now, as was my own.

"I need you." Those were the words he decided to whisper in my ear. Those three words lit my soul on fire. I was burning with passion, and I knew I couldn't turn back from this point. I whimpered slightly and Bill once again pulled away to stare into my eyes. His eyes were bright and wide. "Are you sure?" Asking this question hurt him so much, he needed me, yet he was trying to be sure this is what I wanted.

My answer was to jerk him back to me and kiss him harder than ever before. Our tongue's slid against each other's and I felt him bunch up the dress around my waist. He gasped and pulled away. "You aren't wearing underwear," he stated clearly shocked. I gave him a mischievous smile. "Hasn't anyone ever told you that panty lines are bad?" I teased.

All of our clothes were in a pile across the room. Bill had pushed everything on top of the desk aside and layed my body on top of the smooth surface. Our bodies were slick with sweat and yet, we were completely content. I was experiencing joy; I was on fire! I could have never imagined this feeling on my own. I cried out in ecstasy as our bodies met. A smoldering feeling became known in the pit of my stomach as we continued to make love. The release was sudden and blissful; Our screams echoed through the room. We shared a sweet kiss and curled against each other.

"You know, I was thinking," Stated Bill a while later. Bill and I were still naked; our bodies draped over the desk top. "Yes?" I marveled at how wonderful his bare skin felt against my own. Our bodies were close as possible, his arms around me, caressing my back as he stared at the ceiling, eyes thoughtful. His dark eyes met mine. "When we get out of this ridiculous situation, I think we should find a house and live together. And maybe, maybe if you really wanted to," he paused. "We could get married." He unleashed the intensity of his eyes on me.

"Did you just propose?" I teased. He laughed nervously and kissed me tenderly. "I guess I just did." Tears brimmed my eyes and I felt my heart explode. "Well then. I guess my answer is yes."

We had just gotten dressed when we heard noises and jingling keys outside of the door. Bill grabbed my hand and gave me a reassuring smile. "We'll get through this together. I promise."

I awoke covered in sweat. Though my nightmare had jostled me awake, I still remembered it clearly. Darkness had surrounded me. The echoed screams still rang out in my head.

I sat up and the room began to spin.My cheek was clammy from resting it on the cold concrete floor while I slept. "Bill," I said, trying to wake him. I stood and began to shove supplies into my pack. "We need to get going. Get up now!" My voice faded as I spun on my heel and found Bill's sleeping spot empty.

Images from my nightmare flashed before my eyes again. I scanned the room and saw a new addition to the room. A small television slash VCR sat against the wall adjacent from me. Rushing to it, I fell to my knees. Resting on top of the TV was a tape. It wasn't labeled, but I pushed it into the machine and pressed play.

The beginning of the tape was dark, soundless. I was about to switch the power off when a slight flash of light caught my attention. I saw a small window; glancing up, I recognized it as the same window leading into the basement. My attention flickered back to the screen.

I saw my own body. I was lying still on the floor. Suddenly, I shot up, aware that we were being attacked. Quick as lightning, a person jumped into view of the camera and shoved a syringe into my thigh. I struggled for a few moments and fell back.

Bill was awake now and was putting on a good fight. The camera was now showing three men circling him. One removed a large object and smashed it against Bill's temple. Still conscious, he slumped against the wall and began screaming in protest as the bound his hands. After being fed up of him causing such a commotion, I assumed, the man gagged him as well.

The camera then switched to a different man. He wore a dark suit and an even darker smile. "Hello Asia. It has been too long," I stared into the face of my parent's killer. "You see, I have your friend now," He continued, his smile becoming more vicious with every passing moment. "If you would like to see Mr. Kaulitz again, you will follow these instructions."

He gave me an address. Once the last syllable of the address left his lips, the tape came to an end. I sat a moment, processing. How could I have let this happen? I stared at my hands helplessly. My vision blurred for a moment and I growled furiously. I swept my hand over my eyes. How could I have disintegrated into this?

I stood angrily and grabbed my few belongings. When my boots were laced and I had a knife tied to each hip, I squeezed through the narrow window and set of in the direction of where ever these cruel people wanted me to go.

Apartments. That's what I stood in front of. I recited the address in my head and checked the golden numbers hanging on the building. I took a deep breath. I had never been this close to so many people in such a long time. My stomach knotted nervously.

I made my way to apartment 34 A and pounded my fist against the door. My right hand fell to the hilt of a knife and I squeezed it reassuringly. There was no response. The door was locked and there was no key in site. You think that would be a problem for most people.

Not for me.

The heel of my boots collided with the wood of the door, nearly tearing it from it's faded hinges. I stepped into a completely empty room. The walls were white, which was a stark contrast to the pitch black tiled floor. As I made my way through the small living quarters, I noticed that all the doors were shut. I approached the last door and found a note taped to it. The writing was messy, as if wrote in a hurry and said "Look in the closet."

Drawing a blade I neared the closet door. The closet was empty except for a sleek black bag. Inside contained two things. A white floor length gown and an invitation. I squinted as I strained to make out he incredibly small text.

Join us at the grand ballroom

On September first at 6 p.m.

The following people will be there to give a presentation

as well as answer any questions you might have:

Jill Hale, Neel Axel, and Bill Kaulitz.

There will also be several vendors present.

September first? That was today. I stared blankly at the piece of paper until the sound of paper hitting the ground broke me from my phase. It was another note. It read,

"If you do not show up,

                                                                            He will die."

I looked out the window and smiled to myself.

"Looks like I'm crashing a party."

Being the person I am, I have become attuned to certain things. A sharp buzzing feeling made itself known as we walked down a cracked concrete street. Bill and I had left Chiba and were headed North-east, the direction of Tokyo. "If we are lucky," I paused to stare at his dirty face, "we might make it there by night fall." I had said earlier. Now I wasn't so sure that my plan would work that way.

I quickened my pace and before Bill could ask said, "We are being pursued." Bill widened his stance, naturally speeding up. In the distance I could hear the beating of the footsteps following us. They also became faster. "Duck when I tell you to." I whispered. Bill looked at me with confused eyes. "Wh--" I grabbed his wrist, my nails digging into his skin. "Don't ask questions if you value your life! Duck when I tell you to!" My words were harsh and quick.

We were running now, and in the background I heard the soft click. "Duck! " I yelled. The shots pierced the air. Bill had landed in the grass, which was almost to my knees. He lay there looking stunned while I jumped up in order to protect both of us.

There was only one guy, but when the breeze gusted slightly, I could tell that under his navy cotton jacket was a hell of a lot of artillery. "Looking for me?" I asked, my eyebrows slightly raised. Having only my sais and a long serrated knife easily accessible, I was clearly out matched. The man smiled coldly. "Why yes, It appears that I have. I've been hired to kill you and your little friend. But I bet that doesn't surprise you. I mean, you're the great Asia Spade," His voice was taunting.

"I hope you know that you have no possible chance of beating me. I am a champion fighter. Never been beaten." The gun rested limply in his arms. "Don't play coy with me, sir. You know that I have yet to be defeated as well. And I've killed more people than you can ever imagine." I drew my sais from behind my back and gripped them tightly in my hands. The man snorted, half amused-half frustrated.

"Would you like to know my opinion?" I made my voice as loud and strong. "I think you are intimidated by me. How pathetic would it be, for you to finally lose. And to a woman. Tsk. Tsk." The man's face darkened instantly. "How about we fight fair, eh? No guns or knives. Just fists. That way, I can really feel good when you beg for mercy at my feet. And everyone will know, that I, Alan Ferrel killed the 'Asia Spade' " I was amused now. "Alright. On the count of three, drop your weapon."

"One."

"Two."

"Three."

As promised, knives and guns fell aside as each of us stepped forward. I specialized in using knives, but that didn't mean I couldn't fight with my hands. "You are so going down," He growled. Alan stepped forward and swung. I ducked under his arm and caught him in the gut. "Not so hot, are ya?" I laughed menacingly. "Has anyone told you that you are an Uber bitch!" On the word bitch, Alan's fist came into contact with my left temple. My head snapped back and then I fell to my knees as he kicked me in the chest.

I swept his feet from under him, and he tumbled to the ground beside me. I stood quickly and my way over to Bill. "Are you alright?" All Bill managed to do was point behind me. "You know it's a shame. I love feisty women, and you had fight in you. What a waste." I felt the pain before I heard the gun shot. Blood dripped from my arm. I've been hit! The coppery smell of the overpowering red liquid made my stomach churn in response. "Watch out!" Bill said behind me. I looked up as the butt of the rifle caught against the side of my face.

Concrete. That's all I could see when I regained consciousness. Sitting up made my head throb in an unbearable way, but I had to. Alan was getting closer to Bill, who was surprisingly holding his ground in a fist fight. Within arms reach laid a silver blade. Without a moments hesitation, I snatched it up and hurled myself to my feet. I staggered forward noiselessly. Bill saw me coming and laughed. "Any last words?" He said to Alan. "Yeah, your dead,"

I stood over Alan's headless body. "Looks like you lost your head," I mumbled dryly. I tucked an ace of spades into a front pocket of his jacket before standing straight. The blade fell from my hand as my vision began to blur slightly. Bill had noticed my arm and stated "Your hurt." I looked at my arm. My jacket was torn and stained. "Nah. It's just a scratch."

An hour later, Bill and I sat behind a piece of old fencing as he bandaged my arm. "Your lucky you were only clipped." He said softly. "What was it?" he asked. Frustrated, I said. "It's called a gun. Ever heard of one?" Bill frowned at my tone and asked. "I knew that. I meant, what kind of gun was it?" I sighed. I was so tired; I desperately needed sleep. "It was some kind of rifle. That is all I can tell you. I'm not a gun expert, you know."

"How did you know he was following us?" Bill asked later as we ate small pieces of stale bread. I wrapped my remaining food back in a piece of cloth before I answered. "I always feel like somebody's watching me." I stated. "Sometimes the feeling is stronger than others. That is how I knew he was following us." "You always feel like that?"

Lack of sleep had driven me to the edge. I snapped at Bill. "Are you going to keep interrogating me? Or can I get some sleep? This wound has made me really tired and we have to rise early tomorrow." Bill bit his lip. "I am sorry," he apologized. Sincerity flashed in his eyes; I knew he really meant it. "It's okay." He nodded towards my arm. "Can I at least re-wrap it one more time?"

After I had agreed to it, Bill unwrapped the gauze covering the wound. His fingers gently traced around the opening in my arm. "It's not very deep," he observed. "And it is clean. Hopefully it will not get infected, otherwise we are in major trouble." He gently wrapped up my arm, his fingers gently caressing against my skin. His fingers lingered on my arm for a moment.

Bill looked into my eyes and spoke softly. "You are shivering. Take my jacket." He began to remove his jacket but I held my arm up. "I refuse your jacket. You need it to stay warm." "But what will you use? You will freeze to death!" Without another word Bill laced an arm around my waist and pulled my body close to his chest. I stayed there. One because I no longer had strength to tear myself away from him. And two because he was so warm.

I drifted to sleep there, where nightmares haunted my mind until the sun arose.

I was suffocating. A kind of dense fog hung in the air all around me. I could hear someone screaming loudly in the background. I tried to lift my head off of the ground but failed miserably. My body was slowly becoming numb. My eyes focused on the figure hovering over me. . Dressed in all black and wearing a gas mask. A sharp pain made its self known as a boot smashed the side of my face against the ground. Cold blood splattered my body. My eyelids fell closed and unconsciousness took hold of me.

My eyes darted open.

Rays of golden sunlight streaked through the only window in the tiny shed. The window was open, revealing a clear, blue sky. Birds chirped happily in the distance. Everything around me felt so surreal; Almost like I was in a dream.

Around me were the metal walls of an abandoned shed. It was cold in the empty room; void of anything except a dirt floor and two sleeping bodies. Mine and Bill's. I heard Bill sigh softly.

I looked at his pale face. He was dreaming peacefully; His eyes searching behind closed lids. He was dreaming peacefully.

That was when I realized the position we were in.

My head was nestled softly against his shoulder, my hands pressing flat against his chest. His arms were tightly around my waist. His head was resting against mine. I sighed contently.

I don't know how long I stayed there. I couldn't help but notice many things about Bill. Like the way his dark hair, splayed against the ground, waved gently. He had long, dark eye lashes and his lips curved softly.

Suddenly, his eyes opened. His eyes, which were dark with sleep, shimmered brightly when they met mine. I felt my body melting into the soft Earth. I was totally lost now. I was so focused on his dark eyes, that I didn't hear when he spoke. His hand cupped my cheek carefully. "I asked if you slept well." He stated, raising his eyebrows. "Oh," I sat up quickly. "Yeah, I slept fine." I shook my head slightly. This was the behavior that was going to get the both of us killed. 'Snap out of it! You need to focus on the task at hand!' I ordered myself sternly.

Bill and I made our way through the city Chiba, located a hundred miles away from Tokyo. I wearily eyed the people we passed on the streets. Bill and I had discarded our old clothes in exchange for different ones. Bill was dressed in camouflage pants and a black shirt adorned with small pieces of silver. Slung over his shoulder was a worn leather jacket. My tight black pants curved over my thighs. A purple corset covered my torso and black chords wound up my arms like deadly snakes. I clutched a midnight colored trench coat in my fist.

"Here," I said, motioning to an empty ally. "Let's go this way, it might be a short cut." We entered the dark ally soundlessly. "Not so fast," Growled a menacing voice. Bill and I stopped dead in our tracks. My burning hand flew to one of my weapons, ready to attack. "I don't think so Asia," Continued the voice. "Keep your blade sheathed, if you know what's good for you." The deadly voice warned. "It is very foolish for you to threaten me," I hissed.

The voice chuckled. "Unless you want the boy dead, take your hand off of the knife." Bill leaned close to me and whispered, "We should split up," Before I could object, he darted from my side and out of the ally, leaving me alone. Again, the voice laughed darkly. The sound of feet hitting the asphalt made alerted me to draw weapons in each hand.

It was pitch black in the ally; And suddenly very quiet. I shifted my feet into a defensive position. My head snapped back as a fist came in contact with the right side of my face. Another blow was delivered to my stomach. I snapped forward, helplessly.

That made me angry. I slashed my pair of Sai's* in front of my body. They came into contact with a body; And that body hit the ground like a sack of flour. They were still alive; I could tell by the labored breathing. The moon had escaped the hold of the clouds, illuminating the man and everything else in front of me. I pressed my boot to his throat. "Who sent you?" I yelled, pressing down slightly. The man choked and wheezed, but didn't speak a word. "Let me ask again," I lifted my foot and replaced it with my sharp, blood covered blade. "Who sent you?" Acid dripped off of my voice. The man shook his head.

"Pity," I said softly. I drove the blade down and slit his throat. Once I had replaced the Sai's* in their cloths at my waist, I rolled my neck, cracking it. Now to find Bill...

I ran across a few abandoned streets and past completely deserted buildings. There was no sign of him. I came to a stop and held my breath. I heard noises coming from my left, so I hurried in that direction. I quietly tiptoed to the back of a small hotel. Bill stood against a chain length fence. In front of him was a man holding a gun; A gun that was pointed at his head. "My boss told me to kill you, but that wouldn't be any fun, now would it?" The man's voice was taunting. The man lowered the gun and shot at Bill's feet. "Ooops, I missed. You can bet I won't next time though," The man glowered darkly.

Without a sound I approached the man, while he reloaded his cheap gun. This time I chose a long and sharp knife. The gleaming silver blade sliced through his middle as I lunged forward. I withdrew my weapon quickly and ignored the man, stepping over him. My face was hard as stone as I neared Bill. He looked relieved. "Thank you," He said, his breath racing like his heart. "How dare you," I yelled at him. He looked stunned as he raised a delicate eyebrow. "Wha-," He couldn't finished before I started to scream once again. "You disobeyed me. Didn't I tell you never to leave my side? You are lucky that I don't kill you right now! I would just abbreviate what will eventually happen to you. Some lucky person will take away your pathetic life." Bill looked taken aghast, his pale face was paler than usual.

We walked through the dark in silence. Anger radiated wildly from my body. Bill's body was tense. I almost regretted what I had said to him, only a few hours before. He walked ahead of me slightly, and then abruptly turned a corner. I followed in amusement.

"There is no one in here," Bill gestured to an open basement window. "Fine," I mumbled. "We can sleep here tonight. Bill and I slipped quietly through the window and into a dusty room filled with filing cabinets. Bill settled into a corner, and I the adjacent one. "Any last words?" I asked dully. He turned toward me and glared. "You are such a bitch!"

I nestled against the sand. Desert nights get so cold. I was pretty sure that it was at least twenty, if not colder. Yet there was no snow. Just an endless sea of sand. The cold desert reminded me of how very lonely my life is. Completely empty. I sighed and let a tear roll down my cheek, into the sand.

"Hmph!" I felt Bill collapse into the sand next to me. There was a moment of silence that followed this. I sighed in relief, but it felt almost awkward; Ever since we had left the house, it was like Bill was playing the game 20 questions. He refused to stop asking questions from dawn to dusk. "So..." He started softly. I groaned. "What do you want, Bill?" I rolled over to face him, propping myself up on my elbow. "I demand that you tell me where you are taking me!" He crossed his arms over his chest and stared at me. I rolled my eyes and rolled my body over. I closed my eyes and into the darkness, I whispered to him.

"We are going to Tokyo."

Only a few days had passed when we made it to a small town. I was exhausted, and deep down, I knew he was too. I decided that we needed to find a place to stay. We found an abandoned warehouse. Completely empty and void of people. The warehouse was made up of a huge main room and a tiny office that was bare. "You will sleep in the office and I will sleep outside the door." I ordered. He nodded, and walked into the room, closing the door behind him.

I had just fallen into a dreamless sleep, when I heard a noise. Oh how badly I wanted to investigate that noise, but my eyelids remained shut.

Suddenly, my head was jerked from the floor. "Well, Ill be damned! Its Asia Spade, herself!" chuckled a voice. I could tell that the voice belonged to a male. I could also tell that he had been drinking. His breath smelled badly of alcohol; It made my head spin. My hands searched the floor of anything I could use as a weapon. My hands brushed only against the smooth concrete. I was about to launch my foot into him when I felt the knives. Two of them. One against my neck and the other resting against my stomach. That is when I realized there was more than one person with me.

"Where is the boy?" questioned the second voice, also belonging to a man. As he spoke, the blade against my belly dipped and sliced into my skin. A whimper escaped my lips. I almost wanted to kill myself. I was tougher than this. I was appearing weaker than I really was.

"Go search for him. Now!" Commanded the first voice. "Fine." was the answer from the blackness that surrounded us all. Before he departed, he sunk his knife deeper into me, then pulled it loose. I could now smell the sour, rusty scent of blood.

"You better let me go," I warned. "Or what?" He barked, laughing slightly.

With all my might, I pushed against the mans arm. He fell onto his backside while I put a few feet in between us. The sound of the blade slicing through the air penetrated the silence around me. I cried out when the blade lodged its self deeply into my side. I sound to the ground, panting. "Everyone talks about how tough and dangerous you are. People around the globe are afraid that you are lurking in the shadows," His voice was taunting as he crossed the pitch black warehouse floor to where I sat, helpless and bleeding. His hand closed around my neck; The sweat on his hand made my wound sting unbearably.

"But you went down much easier than I expected," I guess the sun was rising, because I could see the outline of his face. And I could see the knife raised in his hand. "See you in hell," he whispered.

I prepared to see my life flashing in front of my eyes. I prepared for the blade to plunge directly into my heart. But something unexpected happened.

Two hands, holding a large object made contact with the mans head. His body slumped onto the floor, unconscious; His knife fell onto the floor in front of me.

The bright lights flashed on, momentarily blinding me. "Hey," yelled the second man. I raised my hand to shield my eyes. Bill stood, straight and calm, a few feet away. He saved me! Bill saved me. The thought was almost too much for my mind to register.

A rather short man came into view. He was wearing all black, and might I say that he looked angry. "You little bitch," He hissed, staring directly at me. At lightning speed, I had pulled the knife from my side and thrown it in his direction. It made contact just above his collar bone. He went down with a thud.

I remained on my knees; I did not know if I possessed the strength to stand. "Are you okay?" He turned to face me. His voice was completely blank and distant. "You didnt kill him," I stated. "He will wake up in a few hours." He nodded solemnly. I clumsily rose.

That was a big mistake.

I didnt remember hitting the ground. And I really didnt remember passing out. But I did both. I remained unconscious for hours, blood draining from me, as well as life. I was dying, I knew I was. There was nothing I could do but wait.

"Can you hear me?" called a soft, sweet voice. Yes, I thought. I can hear. Im not dead! My eyes cracked opened slowly. The first thing I saw was Bills worried face, his brow furrowed slightly. I attempted to sit up. "I think it would be best for you to stay lying down," he advised sternly. I shook my head. "No, I want to sit up." "Then let me help you," He slipped an arm around my waist and pulled me up into a sitting position. "How long was I out?" I turned to face him. He appeared to be counting in his head. "About six." He informed me. He took a long, shaky breath. "I thought you were going to die." His voice was soft and thoughtful.

I let out a shaky laugh. "Honestly, I dont know how I am still alive. I had some pretty bad wounds. I should have bled to death." Bill blushed. "Yeah, Im sorry about that, there was no other way." I raised one eyebrow at him and cocked my head to the side. "I bandaged you up."

"Oh, thanks..." There was an awkward silence to follow. "And thanks again.. For saving my life." It was hard, to thank someone, when I had never done it before. His blush had suddenly disappeared. His eyes met mine. "You are very welcome."

It was then that I noticed that he had a blood stain on the corner of his mouth. Without thinking, I brushed it away with my fingertips. Our eyes met again; and this time, I felt something I had never felt before. He leaned in slowly and I found myself falling forward into him.

When our lips met, it seemed as though a spark ignited deep inside of me. The heat coursing through my veins was undeniable. His arms, which for the first time I noticed were quite strong, wrapped around my waist, and held my body against his. My arms instinctively went around his neck. The kiss took a violent turn into passionate. His lips forced mine open and our tongues danced together. My eyes rolled into the back of my head as a low moan escaped in the back of my throat.

After a few moments, we pulled away, breathless. His face was flushed, and his dark eyes sparkled.

"Onward to Tokyo!" He said with a wink.
